Football Fiesta Charcuterie Ball
Prepare a touchdown of flavors with our Football Fiesta Charcuterie Ball! Ingredients:
2 containers of onion & chive cream cheese (8 oz) at room temperature
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar
½ cup Parmesan, grated
1/2 tsp minced garlic
1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
Pinch of kosher salt
Pepper, to taste
2 cups mini pepperoni
1 slice mozzarella, cut into thin strips
Directions:
In a large bowl, mix together the room temperature cream cheese, sharp cheddar, and grated Parmesan until well combined.
Add minced garlic, crushed red pepper flakes, kosher salt, and pepper to the cheese mixture. Mix thoroughly to incorporate the spices.
Line another bowl with plastic wrap and transfer the cheese mixture into it. Using a spatula, flip out the cheese ball mixture onto a layer of plastic wrap on your counter.
Form the mixture into the shape of a football by creating an oblong, oval shape and then pinching the ends to form a slight point.
Refrigerate the cheese ball for at least 1-2 hours to allow it to set.
Remove the cheese ball from the refrigerator, unwrap it, and use a spatula to slide it onto your charcuterie board.
Cover the cheese with mini pepperoni while making sure to preserve the football shape
Use the thin strips of mozzarella to form laces on the football cheese
